LIR services

AS215248 is a RIPE NCC member (Local Internet Registry). That means I can act as your Local Internet Registry — the RIPE role (a “sponsoring LIR”) that lets you hold your own internet number resources without becoming a full LIR yourself. It’s a paid RIPE service, offered here at cost.

The RIPE NCC charges annual fees for independent resources, and sponsored resources must be re-verified every year. This is offered at cost as peer-to-peer help — get in touch to talk through what you need and the fees involved.

Resources

AS Number (ASN)

Register and maintain your own 32-bit AS number with the RIPE NCC, so you can run BGP and multihome under your own autonomous system.

Provider Independent IPv6 (PI)

Arrange an independent IPv6 assignment that stays yours regardless of which upstreams or LIR you use.

Provider Independent IPv4 (PI)

Where availability allows, arrange independent IPv4 space and keep the RIPE database objects correct and up to date.

IPv4 space for lease

Short on IPv4? I can lease IPv4 space from AS215248’s own resources for your project — with the route objects and RPKI ROAs set up correctly so it’s usable straight away.

Guidance & maintenance

Help with the RIPE application, database (whois) objects, ROAs/RPKI, and the annual re-verification that sponsored resources require.
