AS215248
Bastiaan Brink’s personal BGP Project
Personal and experimental BGP project
AS215248 is my personal and experimental BGP project. I’m hosting services in my homelab in Almere, based on a rented IPv4 subnet 104.167.19.0/24.
As I’ve registered as a RIPE LIR I’m on the IPv4 waiting list to receive my own IPv4 subnet.
Technology
My BGP network is based on Mikrotik CHR routers hosted on Virtual Machines at Coloclue (AS8283), Multi Services (AS215664) and Securebit (AS58057).
From these routers I’ve setup OSPF between these routers and my homelab in Almere.
Homelab
My homelab is hosted within my garage and consist of a 19″ rack containing the following hardware:
- A Proxmox Virtual Environment Cluster based on 4 HP Z8 workstations and 1 MS-01
- 3 APC UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies)
- 2 APC ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
- 3 Synology Rackmount NAS (Network Attached Storage)
- 2 Ubiquity Unifi 10GbE switches
Peer with me
AS215248 has an Open Peering Policy. Once I’m connected to one or multiple IX-es I would love to setup peering sessions.
